PRETTY LITTLE THINGS

Es ist wahrscheinlich nichts Neues, aber ... Kapuzen-Badetücher für die Kleinen sind so einfach zu machen! 

So geht's:
- aus einem 150x100 cm großem Stück Frottee zwei Rechtecke von 75x75 cm und zwei Dreiecke mit einer Seitenlänge von ca. 25 cm zuschneiden
- Das Dreieck Spitze an Spitze auf das Rechteck festnähen, wer mag, kann noch Schrägband um die Kanten rum annähen, ansonsten einfach mit Zigzag-Naht versäubern, fertig!

 Materialkosten für zwei Tücher = 12€ (hier gibt's super weiches Frottee).  Ihr könnt hier das Tutorial für das Frosch-Badetuch runterladen. Die Vorlage für die Augen ist schon im Originalgröße, einfach auf A4-Format ausdrucken.

Probably everyone else knows it already, but I've just found out how easy the hooded baby bathing towels are to make. Here's how:
- out of a 150x100 cm piece of fabric cut out two 75x75 cm squares and two triangles with a side lenght of 25 cm. Pin triangle corner to square corner, sew. Attach trimming if you like it, otherwise just work the edges with a zigzag. Ready!




Here you can download the tutorial for a Froggy-Towel. The templates for the eyes are already in original size - just print out on A4-paper. 

A little black dress and a string of pearls is all you need to always look neat and dressed to occasion. What if the dress is a black-and-white tweed and has black flowers printed all over it and the pearls are a black plastic? Never mind, it's the style that counts!

Long Greek-goddess style dresses were all the hype this summer. This one I made of light jersey. I really like the neckline of this one - it shows off the shoulders and the back nicely :)

What comes first - the inspiration or the material? For me, it's usually the material. I love love love shopping for fabrics, thanks to Etsy, Dawanda and the like. By now I have quite a collection of fabrics, some have a mental tag attached to it with a precise idea as to what it will become, others are just my source of inspiration, being the beautiful muse everyone needs :)
